Award Nitez 2010 Award Categories

Hello all,

Here are all the award categories as promised:

１．最佳“火星人”奖

这个人喜欢的东西不是每个人能接受的，很难明白的他的个性，活在自己的世界里……简直就是与众不同。

２．最佳“不要脸”奖

这个人自以为自己很帅／厉害／美。这并不是一件坏事哦！只是他的自信过高。

３．最佳“长不大”奖

这个人都已经在青年团乐但……还是像启蒙班的小朋友。几时才会像个青年人呢？

４．最佳“机关枪”奖

这个人的说话能力真是一流。不只是说话很快，话题好像说不完似的。

５．最佳“镜子随身”奖

谁说爱美的只有女生咧？这个人也可能是男的哦！

６．最佳“慢半拍”奖

人家说笑话，他五秒后才笑。每次也搞不清楚状况。有时真是给他气死。

７．最佳“靠得住”奖

什么事情交给这个人都不必担心。因为他什么都会帮忙搞定的。

８．最佳“迷人歌声”奖

这个人的歌喉可是每个人都认同是最棒的。连树上的鸟听到他的歌声都会被骗下树啊！

９．最佳“无厘头”奖

这个人有时你会怀疑他是不是从疯人院出来的。那么多“废”的东西都可以被他想到。但没有这个人团契也会少了一些笑声所以也是不能缺少的。

１０．最佳“乖乖牌”奖

这个人看来就是家里最乖的那个。看他那么单纯的样子真的不想捉弄他。

１１．最佳“好老公”奖

这个人将来的老婆或是现在的老婆一定很幸福。一定是各位姐妹的白马王子。

１２．最佳“贤妻良母”奖

那位姐妹是众姐妹的模范和众弟兄的梦中情人呢？

  

１３．最佳“大笑巫婆”奖

这个人的笑声肯定在千里之外可以听到。笑口常开是好事，而且也可以带来欢乐给大家。

１４．最佳“亲善大使”奖

这个人跟谁都能很和得来因为他很有善也很会关怀别人。

１５．最佳“从不迟到”奖

每次都是他很早到团契。看到他那么准时，有时真觉得自己那么迟有点惭愧。

16. 最佳“飞车手”奖

这个人驾车的时候应该觉得自己是藤原拓野因为坐上他的车总觉得自己在坐过山车。

17.最佳“皮卡索”奖

说到画画或任何跟art有关的东西这个人可是最强的。

18.最佳“策划师”奖

这个人可是举办活动的主脑。没有他没有任何的活动可以完成的那么完美。

19.最佳“受保护动物”奖

这个人每个人看到都很想保护他。不一定是因为他很弱只是他样子太需要保护了。

Award Nitez 2010

Hello all,

I've moved our Youth Fellowship's blog to blogger coz I've been facing a lot of problems with onsugar.

Anyways, today's post is to announce not only the moving of our blog but also to tell you guys the details about an event that is going to take place soon.

We've planned an event called Award Nitez which would be held on 12 November. This event is basically like the typical award show you see on the tv. On that night, we would like to honor our fellowship members like never before. We would present them awards that no one had ever present them ever. Its like a little way for them to know that we love the way they are and celebrate it.

So on the night we will present 20 different awards and each award's winner will be each one of you's decision. Both the nomination of candidates and voting will be done by all of you, youth fellowship members.

Nomination of candidates for each award will start on 24 Sept till 15 Oct. Each person will be allow to nominate 3 candidates for each award. Nominations can be done by sending Dorcas a private message on FB or come to get the nomination form from Dorcas. As for the voting, it will be done after the candidates are chosen, which is from 17 Oct to 5 Nov. This time each person is only allowed to vote for one person from each award.

All winners will be announced and presented with an award on the Award Nite itself.

More details will be posted up either on our YF's facebook on this blog. So make sure you guys keep checking both these places out.

The award's categories will be given posted up this week for you guys to have a thought on who to nominate.

Eve's Night

Every half a year our YF we have a special event called Eve/Adam's Night. During June, we had our annual Eve's Night. It was a night where the guys had to serve the girls for a night.

 

Here are the photos of the event:

 

The chairman of the night was Bro Wen Feng. He organised a series of fun and games for us that night.

 

The first game was what we call the Big Mouth World Cup. The girls will choose a guy to be their goals and they have to "shoot" in nuts into the "goals" to obtain points. Girl with the highest points wins the game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The final winner was Jacy who scored a lot of points. So sorry the event was long passed that we forgot the points. But it was a lot of points. LOL~

 

 

The second game was Charades. The guys will act out an action while the girls will raise their hands to win a chance to answer. The girl who answered most correct wins the final prize.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The winner for this game was Siew Tin who answered more questions than anyone of us.

 

 

That night all girls were pampered well with gifts...

After all that we had a mini birthday celebration to celebrate birthdays of April, May and June babies before ending our youth fellowship that night.

Time schedule for the camping trip

Sorry for the much delay of this. Was sick for a few days. Thank God I got better or else I might not even make it for the trip.

 

This is the time schedule for our camping trip's first day. On the second day, the schedule is not planned because we were not sure what to plan. We'll just go with the flow whatever that will happen on that day. Haha~ But please prepared for our own Sunday service on the hill...wonder how that feels? ^^

 

So anyways here's the schedule~

 

7am Meet up at Gereja Presbyterian Melaka

Yes, its that early. Well, have you heard of the saying Early Bird Eats The Worm (早起的鸟儿又虫吃)? LOL~

 

7.30am Leave for Asahan

Those driving please make sure your car is packed so that we do not need to drive too many cars to Asahan, And please bring breakfast or something edible to eat on the way there coz we won't be stopping for breakfast

 

8.30am Reach Gunung Ledang National Park

We will then settle all payment. Those who need the tents can start renting them.

 

9am Start the climb

 

1pm Set up the tents

 

2pm Prepare lunch>lunch>clean up

 

3.30pm Freetime

 

5.30pm Prepare dinner>dinner>clean up

 

7pm Praise and Worship

7.30pm Games

A drama presentation which is also a game...more info on the hill :p

 

10pm Freetime>Sleep

 

That's the draft of it actually. There might be subject to change coz of time or some other problems that might happen.

Preparation for camp- Part 1: What to bring to the camping trip?

Hi all,

 

This whole week we'll be posting up a whole series of posts on the camp so that we could help you prepare for THE CAMPING TRIP OF THE YEAR!!!!

 

The first post of the week would be on the things to bring for the camp. We'll tell you one by one on what to bring and what to prepare.

 

So here goes...

1. DRINKING WATER

 

So drinking water is of course important. But please take note do not take too much water with you.

 

We would suggest that you bring only one big bottle of water during the hike in case you would like to quench your thirst during the hike. If you bring too much water, it would be a big burden for you during the hike.

 

So you must be wondering what if the water finishes? Do not worry coz we have the nature there for us. We'll be drinking from the natural springs available of course on the hill. Please do put aside your fear of the hygiene coz we could assure you the waters are really clean.

 

2. FOOD

 

Unless you wanna hunt or catch from the hill, don't bring anything at all. Haha~ The above pics are the food that we would suggest you to bring. Its light and easy to bring around.

 

If you have any cooking utensils meant for camping, please do bring it. =)

 

3. Clothes

 

Please bring enough clothes for two days and one night.

 

Note: The above picture is for reference only. Do not take it seriously. Of course you do not need to bring wigs and fishing pole. -_- Haha~

 

4. Raincoat/ Umbrella

 

In case of rain.

 

Of course we do not hope for rain. So do remember to pray for good weather on that day.

 

5. Sleeping bag

 

This is only optional. If you have one, please bring it to for the sleep over on top of the hill.

 

6. Cleaning stuff like soap, toothpaste and tooth brush

 

Unless you don't plan to stay clean on the campsite.

 

7. Tent

 

Which is optional as well. You can actually rent it from the people there for RM40 for four person.

 

8. Torchlight

 

We need to have light at night, don't we? But fret not, this is not optional. If you do have one, Its ok.

 

9. Towel

 

Yeap, those are the nine things that are very important for the camping trip. All you need to do is to bring the above nine and all is done. If you wanna bring anything extra, as long as you can carry it up to the hill, we wouldn't stop you from bringing.

 

Oh, do not forget to bring a TURKEY...lol~ stupid inside joke.
